Preconception Counseling

Thinking about becoming pregnant?

Optimize your psychiatric medications and mental health prior to conception to ensure the lowest risk possible for you and your baby.

Prenatal and Postpartum Psychiatric Treatment

If you're suffering from prenatal or postpartum depression, anxiety, feelings of guilt or sadness, racing thoughts, panic attacks, rage, or insomnia, you're not alone (even though it feels that way sometimes!). Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) are the most common complication of pregnancy and affect up to 1 in 5 patients. Fortunately, they're very treatable, and Dahlia Center can help. Treatment plans are developed collaboratively with patients and may include medication, supportive counseling, and natural remedies. Certification in Perinatal Mental Health means Dahlia Center has the expertise to work with you to navigate your treatment and help you and your baby thrive.

Services offered include medication management, supportive therapy, birth and postpartum planning, and holistic treatments.

Prenatal, Postpartum, and Women's Mood Enhancement Groups

Dahlia Center is excited to announce the addition of our new Prenatal, Postpartum, and Women's Mood Enhancement Groups! These groups provide a holistic approach to mental health, combining therapy, medication management, nutrition, herbs/supplements, and peer support.

These groups are ideal for those who want to prevent perinatal depression and anxiety, those with mild to moderate symptoms who want to avoid medication, or those who take medication and prefer integrative care to address multiple factors contributing to their mental health.
