Erica Linn, FNP
WHOLE-BODY MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST
About Me
I’m a nurse practitioner who helps people improve their quality of life, especially when symptoms are complex, overlapping, or have not been fully understood in traditional healthcare settings.
I have almost a decade of experience as a nurse practitioner, along with a lifetime of learning what supports a healthy, satisfying life. Around the births of my two children, I experienced firsthand the difference supportive people can make. I also had to educate myself and advocate for care to get my immune system and thyroid rebalanced. That experience showed me the limits of problem-focused healthcare and shaped the way I practice today.
For the past 10 years, I’ve built my work around expert consultation and second opinions for complex chronic illnesses. I have consulted on autoimmune disease management and infectious disease treatment, and I have secured investor funding for the development of a brain health program.
My doctoral scholarly work focused on the biology of autism and practical strategies for intervention. That work, along with my experience in inpatient psychiatry, has reinforced the importance of treating the mind and body together.
My mission is to support people in overcoming obstacles to their best lives. I’m a good fit for people who are ready for thoughtful medical care and want a provider who will look carefully at the bigger picture.
My Unique Approach
My starting point is what you want out of life and the skills and resources you bring to your current moment.
Whether you prefer to change your life with baby steps or to jump in with both feet, my priority is to develop a treatment plan that will be realistic for you and get you where you want to be.
My formal education is conventional, and my integrative medicine training is hands-on and through fellowships. I believe this offers patients the best of both worlds, and a unique opportunity for truly informed decision-making. My practice is based in knowing that the body in mind are not separate, so we have many opportunities for changing our chemistry.
I love food and the opportunities it gives to make our lives better! So, we will talk about how to make your daily meals work for you.
Sleep is foundational and an important part of all treatment plans!
