Georgie Coote, NBC-HWC
WELLNESS COORDINATOR
About Me
I’m a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with a deep passion for holistic health, mental and emotional wellness, and supporting people through meaningful life transitions.
My journey began in 2008, when I became certified as a reflexologist and opened a successful practice specializing in women’s health and maternity reflexology. Over the years, my work expanded, and I became deeply involved in supporting women and couples through the transformative experiences of birth and parenting as a birth doula.
After many years of helping families navigate the challenges of birth, I transitioned into coaching, which allowed me to continue guiding others toward wellness in a more expansive way. I specialize in mental and emotional health and support patients through many different transitions, from the demanding phases of parenthood to navigating perimenopause and beyond.
My interest in relationship wellness also led me to train in the Gottman Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. I enjoy working with couples and helping them foster deeper connection and joy in their relationships.
In addition to one-on-one coaching, I’m also a coach trainer. I facilitate a twelve-week Mindful Health and Wellness certification program, where I guide future coaches through their training journey, share my expertise, and help prepare them to take their board exam.
Originally from the UK, I moved to Seattle in 2004 with my husband and two young daughters. Now that my daughters are grown, I’m fully focused on helping others overcome health challenges, achieve their goals, and live joy-filled lives.
In my free time, I enjoy the flexibility of traveling outside of school vacation times. I love paddleboarding and kayaking in the summer, and skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Being in nature with my dog, Winnie, is one of my favorite pastimes, along with getting my hands dirty in the garden, practicing yoga, and playing strategic board games with my husband and friends. I’m also a dedicated puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
My Unique Approach
I take a holistic, nervous-system-informed approach to ADHD support, helping clients work with their brain and body rather than against them.
I specialize in supporting women through major life transitions including pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, when ADHD symptoms often intensify or become more noticeable.
My coaching blends practical strategies with compassionate support, helping clients build sustainable systems for executive functioning, emotional regulation, communication, and daily life.
I support couples navigating ADHD dynamics and the invisible load, using tools such as the Fair Play method and relationship-focused communication strategies.
My background as a birth doula and health and wellness coach allows me to bring a calm, non-judgmental, and deeply supportive presence to clients during periods of change and overwhelm.

Self-Care Playbook
Self-care for me starts with being intentional about not overscheduling myself. As an introvert, I know I need quiet time to recharge, so I pay close attention to my day, week, and month before saying yes to new commitments. I try to protect myself from unnecessary stress and overwhelm by creating space and balance in my life.
Daily movement is also a huge priority for me. Regular exercise, especially strength training and Pilates, supports both my mental and physical health. When I start the day with movement, I feel more grounded and balanced for the rest of the day. I also focus on eating well, building in downtime, and making sure relaxation is part of my routine, not an afterthought.
